Description: This layer will be used as an initial screening layer to flag lots potentially impacted by the SPEA Bylaw. It will be used by the Planning and Building department to screen development applications and enquiries and make the appropriate referrals to staff.1. The buffer areas will be used to to identify properties which fall within (or are crossed by) the the applicable 10m Streamside protection and Enhancement Area (SPEA) or 30m SPEA.2. SPEAs have been measured from the Top of Bank or Top of Ravine Bank, as determined by the interpolation of LiDAR data by Engineering and verified by Mark / Lise.3. This layer replaces the ‘streamside’ attribute currently assigned in Permit Plan.Setbacks are based on the Top of Bank delineation Ver. 1 - August 18, 2016 (City of Burnaby Engineering Department). This dataset is not anticipated to change frequently and does not require a scheduled update.
